After waiting for more than 2 years, The Witcher Season 2 has finally received its official release date, which is on December 17, 2021. Recent announcements were made at the WitcherCon event, as well as a new teaser trailer video on Netflix's YouTube channel.
According to the new video, Geralt of Rivia (played by Henry Cavill) is being introduced to Ciri (played by Freya Allan). In addition, the character Jaskier (played by Joey Batey) is ready to return as well, and in the last-minute part of this new video, we also see the presence of the character Yennefer (played by Miss Anya Chalotra). Due to the spread of the Kovid-19 virus, all productions and films were forced to suspend production and resume filming in early 2021. It looks like the second season of The Witcher is set to end in April this year, but initially, they were scheduled to be completed and released in 2020.
